"Sport brings everyone together and gives people the chance to express themselves and to find new friends. Ashante joined my team as a very raw player but I immediately saw signs that she was full of talent, enthusiasm and eager to learn.

I have been coaching youngsters for over forty years and nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing youngsters enjoy and develop in the sport they love. Ashante is one such person, she has worked so hard and eventually played at a very high level.

Even more impressive is that Ashante decided to take her coaching badges and is now working with youngsters and giving something back to the game she loves. I am so very proud to have played a small part in her development and I know she will go onto be a great success with her motivational speaking and compassion which will help youngsters to follow her path."
